Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Marrakesh - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Gorge DADES

Your journey begins with a scenic drive across the majestic Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, with stops along the way to capture stunning photos of the breathtaking landscapes. Next, you'll explore the picturesque Ounila Valley and visit the renowned UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, where you'll have free time to dine and explore. The adventure continues through the Valley of Roses, passing through the charming Berber villages of Kelaa des M'Gouna. Finally, you’ll arrive at the Dades Gorges, where you'll enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner and rest in an authentic and welcoming environment.

Day 2 - Gorges Todra - Tinejdad - Erfoud – Merzouga

The journey continues to Boumalne Dades, followed by a scenic drive to Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, where you'll enjoy a pleasant walk amidst the stunning gorges. From there, the route leads through the charming village of Tinjdad, with free time to dine before heading to Merzouga, the gateway to your camel adventure. After an hour-long camel ride, you'll arrive at a traditional Berber camp nestled in the Erg Chebbi dunes, complete with tents equipped with mattresses and beds, a restaurant, kitchen, and toilets. The evening will be filled with a delicious dinner and a lively musical performance around the fire, featuring traditional Berber drums. You'll spend a magical night under the stars, surrounded by the enchanting beauty of the Moroccan desert.

Day - Merzouga - Rissani- Alnif - Ouarzazate

We'll begin the third day of our tour in the most magical day: watching the sunrise over the desert. After an early start, we'll climb back onto our camels and head to a hotel where we'll shower and have breakfast (depending on the type of camp, it may be possible to shower and have breakfast before the camel ride). On the way back to Ouarzazate, we'll take a different route. Passing the Tafilalet Palm Grove and the village of Rissani, ancient capital and home to the founder of the Alaouite Dynasty, we'll reach the town of Alnif. Here, we'll join the road that cuts across the stunning Anti-Atlas mountain range. After taking in the spectacular colours and shapes of the mountains, we'll arrive at Tizi N'tfarkhin, Tinghir and an amazing palm grove in the Dadès Valley. At lunchtime, we'll stop at Klaat M'Gouna to eat and rest before continuing the route. In the afternoon, we'll pass over the High Atlas mountains on our way to Ouarzazate, where we'll spend the night in a riad or kasbah.

Day 4 - Ouarzazate - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Bid farewell to Ouarzazate as we embark on our return journey. Traverse the High Atlas Mountains, reaching the zenith at Tizi n Tichka, 2260 meters above sea level. Be captivated by the awe-inspiring views of valleys, mountains, and Berber villages dotting the landscape. As the sun dips below the horizon, we arrive in Marrakech, bringing a conclusion to an enchanting odyssey filled with cultural riches and natural wonders. This meticulously crafted itinerary promises an immersive experience, blending adventure, culture, and the allure of the Sahara, creating memories that will forever linger in the tapestry of your travel adventures.
